Art4 MA – A Marketplace for Artists and Art Lovers. An Online Gallery for Artists to Show and Sell Their Work.

Art4 MA started by art lovers. It is a husband and wife team running a website design and marketing company called BBDS Design in Ashland, Massachusetts. In addition to their passion for technology, they are inveterate art lovers.

Fan is a native Chinese. She combined her graphic design background and love of technology to make a full-time web design career. On the other hand, she is also a devotee of Asian art. Her favorite fields are Chinese poetry, calligraphy, Japanese brush painting, traditional Chinese watercolor painting, and Japanese ukiyo-e. She is also a big fan of impressionism.

Over the past 15 years, they have worked with many artists in the Boston area, and helped them build their websites and promote their artwork. But for some artists, owning their website and continuing to promote it is luxury because of the cost and time. In the end they cannot afford a website other than a cookie-cutter website. This is how Art4 MA started. Art4MA provides an e-commerce platform for artists to showcase their work to the world. They don’t need to worry about the cost of the website, how to promote it, or how to solve technical problems. We want artists to have peace of mind while showcasing their art.

We firmly believe that “Art changes the world”, and we want to support people who can change the world. So, artists, as Neil Gaiman said, “Leave the world more interesting for your being here. Make good art.”
