Beauty Looking Back is considered the very first floating world painting in history. When reading a Japanese artbook, the first time saw the picture and I was deeply attracted by the elegant back view of the lady. I have a special place for this painting in my heart. I tried to paint it on a rock surface. I think it is close to the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy.
